The Power of One
Tate Lahr of Lake View was eleven years old when he started the Reel Fun Fishing Tournament 5 years ago at Black Hawk Lake. It has provided fun for hundreds of kids and adults each year since, with the exception of the Covid-19 cancellation in 2020.
Tate has donated the proceeds of his tournament to the Black Hawk Lake Protective Association each year, with a total to date of $9,756.50. Wow!! Thank you Tate !! The BHLPA is thrilled with the success of this event and grateful for his generosity to help us protect and improve the lake.
